Key Club International is the world’s largest student-led community service organization for high school students. Built on the four core values of Character Building, Inclusiveness, Leadership and Caring, Key Clubbers seek to go out and do good in the world by serving their home, school and community.

Fridley Key Club, rated a Diamond-Level Club for the past 13 years, has about 100 members and is run by a student Board that meets on Wednesday mornings. In additional to partnering with many local organizations such as Springbrook, the Fridley Parks and Rec department and the elementary schools, Fridley Key Club hosts three big service projects each year; they’ve been known to camp out on the football field in cardboard boxes, teeter-totter in a basement for 70 hours straight and whirl dodgeballs at each other in support of refugees.

Whether you’re simply interested in doing some volunteer work, or if you’d like to become more of a leader in the school, consider joining Key Club! Our projects and events can get you tying blankets, making care baskets, playing with kids, blowing up balloons, sending dolls to kids in Africa, sewing dresses and meeting new people from all across the city, state and world! That’s just the small list, though. There are countless opportunities to get involved and you can join them all when you join Key Club!
