National Honor Society

nhslogo The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

The Vernon C. Knutson Chapter at Fridley High School is open to juniors and seniors through an application process in the fall. Qualified candidates are then inducted, where they will serve their school and community by participating in a Rake-A-Thon, serving the Distinguished Alumni Dinner, hosting a Blood Drive and other activities throughout the year.

Dedicated to the four principles of NHS, these hard-working students stand out as leaders in their school in honesty and humility. If you share in this mission of the pursuit of academic excellence, community improvement and personal development, consider joining NHS.
