Wrestlers Off to 5-1 Start!

Our Fridley wrestlers are off to a strong start after two big wins tonight. Tonight’s actions included a 45-33 win over Chaska/Chanhassen and a 62-15 win over Robbinsdale Armstrong. Conference wrestling has also looked great with a 2-0 record heading into the winter break.

Wrestlers Claim 4th Straight Conference Title!

The tiger wrestlers have claimed the Trimetro Conference Title for the 4th straight season. The team finished the regular season 12-3 and undefeated in the conference. This Saturday the team will look to capture several individual champions and win individual tournament in team scoring at Columbia Heights High School.

Wrestlers Start the New Year Strong

Tonight the tiger grapplers beat Columbia Hights/DeLaSalle 75-0 to start the new year. Next week the tigers host St. Croix Lutheran on Thursday for a showdown between the top two trimetro teams! The tigers are now 2-0 in conference competition and 6-1 overall.

Wrestlers Answer Tough Challenges to Move to 5-0

The tiger grapplers were faced with two tough AAA opponents, but continued their early season success by remaining undefeated. Big performances from some of the scrappy newcomers helped defeat Hopkins 37-31 and Chaska/Chanhassen 40-33.

Wrestlers Off To 3-0 Start!

Fridley Wrestling is off to a 3-0 start in dual meets this season with wins over Robbinsdale Cooper, Norwood Young America, and Spectrum. The tiger grapplers also had a strong showing in our own individual tournament, placing 3rd/13 in the team points.
